Hi! I’m Cam.

I’m a brand strategist who forges words into worlds.

My innate ability to formulate and contextualize the complex, both on paper and in real life, is a disposition that comes in handy when you want to do something great.

A proven track record of running growth- and transformation processes for brands across multiple sectors and industries has led me to not only work with industry-leading brands but also to develop creative agencies and their business from within.

Today, I work with brands looking to amplify their impact and agencies ready to deliver better work.

What I do

Strategy, branding &
copywriting

Establishing brand positions and facilitating growth-processes through well-defined and aligned strategy. Including brand strategy, copywriting, creative concepts, and activation. From diagnostics, scope-creation, action-plan and execution to implementation.

For clarity, coherence and resonance.

Account direction & business development

Supporting creative and branding agencies with their most valuable asset – their operation. Overseeing and improving processes, team architecture, offerings, communication and client relationships.

The agency in focus.

1-1 coaching & facilitation

1-1 advisory zeroes in on challenges in targeted sessions, whilst facilitation focuses on larger groups and multiple teams. Including cultural roadmaps, ways of working, leadership, and group development.

Your needs, met.

Credentials

Today, I freelance as a senior brand strategist and advisor towards brands and agencies alike.

Before this, I spent five years working as the Account Director at the creative agency Snask, where I led work for clients such as Bang & Olufsen, Klarna, and award-winning Wallbaby.

Prior to the creative industry, I ran a development organization in Ghana, west Africa, where I funded and executed numerous projects—building a junior high school, installing solar panels, and drilling for water.

Sharing knowledge and inspiring change is my jam. My experience includes teaching leadership and communication at universities such as the Stockholm School of Economics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Berghs School of Communication.

I’ve delivered lectures on stages ranging from TEDx Stockholm to headlining conferences for Effective Altruism in Nairobi.

Quotes from others

  • “Camilla is a wavemaker and change agent.

I've had the pleasure of working with Camilla during her time at SNASK. Besides being a wonderful human, Camilla did a fantastic job of helping me set direction and manage expectations on the brand work we did together on B&O.

She has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can build strong relationships from executive management down to the hands-on staff.

In addition, Camilla is a problem solver with a massive strategic ability to think outside the box - which will guide any brand or business towards transformation, making her a valuable asset to any client or agency.”

  • “If playing it safe appeals to you, Camilla won’t.

She’s opinionated, persuasive and full of heart – with a cosmic understanding of what humans truly want. She’ll nudge you out of your comfort zone in the nicest possible way. And open your eyes to a different perspective of your brand.

I’ve done some of my best work with Cam. If you have her by your side, you will too. “

  • “Camilla will never be the quiet one in the corner, she belongs in the midst of the storm where the energy is created and spreads from.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Camilla for the past five years. She came to Snask at a time of significant change, and what better to bring in than a true changemaker?

Cambam is very much like her nickname; nothing she does ever becomes dull or average. A strength that comes from a passion for change, human connection, and communication.

Brand strategy comes naturally to her, and from the get-go, her talent for challenging, pushing, and evolving brands was evident. During these years, I’ve learned a lot from her; how to be a better person, leader, and writer.”
